Today is the 10th Anniversary of Superstorm Sandy which devastated St. Rose High School on Sunday, October 29, 2012. In the video above, Mr. Jerry Joyce, hosts a retrospective with many of his current colleagues who were working here a decade ago. One of those colleagues, Mr. Paul Falcone, a science teacher and 2013 alumni, was a senior then and provides a student perspective. The group shares stories and memories from the days leading up to the storm to the aftermath and how the community and the world came together to make St. Rose what it is today.
Our students feel safe to take risks, own their learning, pursue their passions
and achieve their personal best. They are confident learners,
prepared to meet the challenges of college and of life.
