Inspired, and challenged by Christ’s words “Whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me” (Mt. 25:40), St. Rose provides and encourages a number of opportunities for students to serve the Lord found in our brothers and sisters in need in the local area.

St. Vincent dePaul Society - St Rose Parish

On Tuesdays and Thursdays only between 11am-3pm students can go right over to the rectory and pick up their containers. Students must return the 4 containers filled with a well-balanced meal.( with a protein & side) Students should show their teachers the containers and label the outside of the contents before dropping off and bring service form to be signed

St. Luke's Community Meals

St. Luke's Community Dinner is a place for anyone to come have a free dinner with us on Tuesday nights between 4:00 to 5:30PM. Neighborhood Food Drives

*Teresa will help you set up a service project collecting items for their food pantry. It may be toiletries, soups, peanut butter and jelly but it would directly benefit their mission there. You will need to reach out to her and then solicit donations of the items - neighborhood, somewhere that would let you leave a collection basket out, but you need a way to collect the items they need.

Always Giving

In addition to our outreach efforts, the St. Rose community regularly collects food supplies for the Mercy Center in Asbury Park, organizes and supplies a large Thanksgiving Food Drive, collects items to support The Henry B King Medical Brigade in Honduras at Christmas, and gives to The Madonna House among other charities and organizations. Students are always encouraged to seek out other opportunities for giving as well.
