Academic Honor Society
The National Honor Society
The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
Chapter membership not only recognizes students for their accomplishments, but challenges them to develop further through active involvement in school activities and community service.
At St. Rose over 70 students have earned membership in NHS. Along with meeting rigorous academic standards, these students are involved within the St. Rose community through their tutoring program and service hours. Their reach also extends to the community at large through their sponsorship and hosting of two successful blood drives each year.
