The Principal's Circle

When an individual or family chooses to include St. Rose in their estate planning for the future, they have become true partners in preserving the tradition of educational excellence for which St. Rose is known. These donors are honored through membership in the prestigious Principal's Circle.

A Donor's Perspective

Meet Alana Edelmann -- After many successful years as a director at Merck, Alana left the corporate world to find more personal fulfillment as a teacher. In 2003 she joined the faculty of St. Rose where she taught and inspired students for ten years. St. Rose students were fortunate to have had such a caring and insightful educator, and the St. Rose community is grateful that Alana has chosen to honor those students by including St. Rose in her estate planning.

St. Rose means a great deal to me. I loved the students and my colleagues, and the chance to be part of something lasting and meaningful. St. Rose is a family and I feel privileged to support it.

A Donor's Impact

Kathryn Daniels O'Brien graduated from St. Rose High School in 1960. Throughout the following years she remained true to her school and was an involved and generous alumnae. Upon her death in 2016, Kathryn made a final and lasting gift to the students of St. Rose High School. Her estate gift made possible the total renovation of all St. Rose Science labs thereby impacting every SRHS student for years to come.
