Governor Murphy's Executive Order No. 117 & 119

Governor Murphy has indicated that previous executive orders remain in full force and that the state of emergency remains in place indefinitely.

With the public-health emergency order, Catholic schools in the Diocese of Trenton will continue to be closed through May 8, 2020. Remote learning will continue in our schools as long as the governor’s orders are in effect.

Spring Break Schedule Change

There will be a six day reprieve from classes beginning on Holy Thursday and ending Tuesday, April 14. Teachers have been advised that the six day break will be assignment free. Virtual classes will resume on Wednesday, April 15.  Thank you for expressing your thoughts and for all that you do in support of our students and teachers. May God be with all of you during our Easter Season.

Virtual Learning BINGO Board

Even with all of this positivity, our “New Normal” of doing everything that we do in a different location has yielded some new and interesting cultural foibles in the St. Rose Community. We thought today, "WHAT DAY IS IT?", FRIDAY, would be a good day to share those with the extended community by introducing a new game: Virtual Learning BINGO!

Update # 5

After continued conversations with local and state officials and under the direction of the Diocese of Trenton's Department of Catholic Education, St. Rose High School will be extending their school closure to April 17, 2020. 

Extracurricular activities, athletics, class trips and community gatherings up until this time will be cancelled or postponed until further notice.

We will continue to observe our Easter Break schedule as planned from the end of classes on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 until Friday, April 17, 2020.

St. Rose High School's Virtual Learning Plan begins tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17, 2020 with Day A. We also produced a new video for students & parents on what to expect tomorrow and how to best prepare.   we have decided to close the school to essential personnel only, including administration and support staff that will make themselves available to assist you via phone/email/chat.  Visitors and contractors will be limited by appointment only.

Beginning on Monday, March 16, 2020 and extending to Friday, March 27, 2020, students should no longer report to school as we will activate our virtual learning plan and continue instruction at home for all students.
