Liturgy/Prayer Services

At St. Rose, students are involved in the liturgy

Each year a select group of seniors serve as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion during the school liturgies. These students receive Spiritual Formation and practical training on this great responsibility. Students are also invited to get involved directly by serving the Altar or as Lectors. There is also a Liturgy Committee which helps create the worship aids and plan the liturgies. The student based choir also lend their voices to the Liturgy.

At least once a month, but often more regularly, the school gathers for Mass, whether we’re celebrating the opening of the School Year, Catholic Schools Week, or the Top-Ten, Thanksgiving, Christmas (Advent), or Ash Wednesday. Students are also invited to our Tuesday Morning Masses – usually held in the School Chapel. These Masses are offered for each homeroom and club, team, and organization throughout the year.
