We are starting to produce the Class of 2023 Senior Photo Montage and need your help.

The montage is normally a 20-minute video that is played after the Senior Awards Ceremony and consists of 4-7 photos from each student, from their time here at St. Rose High School.

From now until April 30, 2023, please visit: http://srhsnj.com/2023photos and upload 4-7 photos of your seniors during their time at St. Rose. You can post photos with other students/friends as long as they all attend SRHS.

St. Rose High School Lawn Signs:
To honor your graduate, St. Rose would like to give you the opportunity to purchase lawn signs to be displayed around the perimeter of the school and then for display outside of your home! The signs will be double sided with the student’s graduation picture and name on one side and school information on the other. Signs will be displayed around the school and then seniors will be able to take them home after the Baccalaureate Mass.

The Senior Breakfast will be held on the morning of Monday, May 15th in the MAAC and is hosted by the Alumni and Advancement Offices. Delicious food will be provided by the Catering wizard. A photographer will be on hand to take a photo of each student dressed in their college gear.  We use these to create a large poster, which is hung in the guidance hall, replicated in our alumni magazine/annual report, and hopefully displayed at later reunions! Photos will be available for you to download or order directly from the photographer. If your child does not have a t-shirt or sweatshirt from their college, please be sure they get one before May 15th!

Friday, May 19th is the last day of classes for seniors.  Parents will receive email notifications for any outstanding items and/or fines/fees due to the main office or other department.  Seniors must settle their accounts in order to walk at graduation.

The Senior Class Picnic is a mandatory event. The picnic will be held on Monday, May 22nd at the Oak Tree Lodge located at 1412 Schoolhouse Road in Wall Township. Seniors are to report directly to the Lodge by 10am. Students may drive themselves (there is ample parking available), but if transportation is needed, we will provide a bus to and from school. The bus will leave promptly at 9:30am and return at 2:00pm. Students must sign up in the Activities Office by Friday, May 19th if they wish to take the bus. Seniors will have use of the following facilities: softball fields, volleyball courts, bocce courts, 18 hole putt-putt golf, horseshoes and basketball courts. Lunch will be provided and will include: hot dogs, hamburgers, garden salad, pasta salad, watermelon, ice cream and soda. Students are welcome to stay until 2:00pm, but will be allowed to leave at 1:00pm. Please refer to the student handbook for dress code regulations. Yearbooks will be distributed at the picnic.
 

The Senior Prom: Tuesday, May 23rd. The prom will be held at Jumping Brook Country Club in Neptune. The Permission Slip, Prom Guidelines, and tickets can be found at www.srhsnj.com/prom. Dress for the evening is formal/black tie. This event is $70.00 per person for St. Rose seniors, $80.00 for underclassmen and outside guests.  Seniors and their guests should plan to arrive at Jumping Brook at 7:30pm. Hors d'oeuvres, dinner and dessert will be served.

The Baccalaureate Mass Practice is a mandatory event.

A mandatory event. Tuesday, May 30th. Students are to report to the Little Theater, in uniform, no later than 9:00am. Students will receive their caps and gowns when rehearsal is complete. Those students with outstanding obligations (i.e. textbooks, library books, team uniforms) will receive their caps and gowns when those obligations have been met.  

The Baccalaureate Mass is a mandatory event.
A mandatory event. Thursday, June 1st at 6:00pm in the Church. Seniors are to report to the Little Theater no later than 5:15pm. Seniors wear their gowns without caps or white collars (ladies) and dress in accordance with the dress-up guidelines in the student handbook. Gentlemen should wear a shirt and tie, dress pants and dress shoes. Ladies should wear a dress of appropriate length and style along with dress shoes. No flip-flops or sneakers are to be worn. The Baccalaureate Mass is a mandatory event for all seniors as we celebrate the culmination of their Catholic High School experience.  Failure to attend the Baccalaureate Mass will result in a senior being ineligible to attend the Commencement Ceremony.  
 

GRADUATE REMINDERS

• Seniors must report to the Little Theater no later than 5:15pm
• Make sure you bring your graduation gown (no caps), Top 10 cords, Sash, and NHS stole (if applicable) to the Little Theater
• Seniors can leave personal belongings in the Little Theater during Mass and the Awards Ceremony
• Seniors will return to the Little Theater after the Awards Ceremony to pick up a Gift Bag and collect their belongings
• A reception will be held in the MAAC immediately following the Awards Ceremony where the Senior video will be played

PARENT REMINDERS

• The Church will open for parents after 5pm
• Parents/Guests will need to present their tickets at the door 
• Please be respectful of others and do not reserve seats
• The rows marked with Purple and Yellow bows are reserved for graduates and faculty
• A reception will be held in the MAAC immediately following the Awards Ceremony where the Senior video will be played
• If you ordered a lawn sign make sure you take yours off the lawn in front of the school on 7th Avenue

For those family or friends who are unable to attend the Baccalaureate Mass & Awards Ceremony a recording of the evening along with photos will be posted on our website at www.srhsnj.com/classof2023 in the beginning of July, 2023.

The Senior Awards Ceremony immediately following the Baccalaureate Mass is a mandatory event.

A mandatory event. Thursday, June 1st. The awards portion of the evening will begin immediately following the Baccalaureate Mass. This program includes the distribution of academic, community service and activity awards. Following the awards ceremony, seniors and their families have the option to join us for a reception in the MAAC where the senior slideshow will be shown. Refreshments will be served courtesy of the SRHS PTA, Athletic Club and Arts Council.

The Graduation Rehearsal is a mandatory event.

A mandatory event. Tuesday, June 6th. Students are to arrive at Monmouth University no later than 9:00am and should wear the T-shirt given to them following the Baccalaureate Mass. No shorts or flip flops are permitted. A continental breakfast will be served. The length of rehearsal is determined by the cooperation of the seniors; however, it typically lasts up to 3 hours.
 

The Graduation/Commencement Ceremony on Tuesday, June 6th is a mandatory event.

A mandatory event. Tuesday, June 6th. The seniors will return to Monmouth University no later than 5:00pm that evening and should report to the Varsity Club on the 3rd floor. We encourage the graduates to leave their personal items at home or with family members, but security will be provided to ensure the safety of items left in the Varsity Club. Graduation is a ticketed event. Each senior will receive four complimentary tickets; additional tickets may be purchased for $10 in advance of the graduation ceremony. No tickets will be sold at the door. 

Graduation begins promptly at 6:00pm. Guests are reminded of the solemnity and sacredness of the occasion and the need to conduct themselves appropriately. Any guest not conducting themselves accordingly will be asked to leave, regardless of their relationship to a graduate. As the seniors are following the dress-up guidelines outlined in the student handbook, we ask that guests also be dressed professionally. Shirts, ties, jackets and dresses are encouraged, and all attire needs to be appropriate for the celebration of graduation.
 

To the parents of the SRHS Class of 2023: In a few short weeks, June 6th will be upon us.  We will be watching our children graduate from St. Rose High School! We would love to celebrate the culmination of an amazing journey with our graduates and their families.   In years past, the celebration has continued at a local venue immediately following the ceremony at Monmouth University.  This year, arrangements have been made at the Columns in Avon-by-the-Sea.  A buffet dinner will be provided and non-alcoholic beverages are included.  There will be a cash bar available.  The cost is $42 per person.  Children 12 and under are $25.
