St. Rose High School Names Caroline Conforti Class of 2025 Salutatorian

Belmar, NJ — May 6, 2025 — St. Rose High School is proud to announce Caroline Conforti as the Salutatorian for the Class of 2025. A standout student, athlete, and leader, Caroline has earned this honor through her exceptional academic performance, unwavering determination, and deep commitment to service—both on and off campus.

Caroline will attend the University of Virginia in the fall, where she plans to major in Biology on the Pre-Med track, with aspirations of becoming an oncologist. Her academic excellence has been matched by her passion for healthcare, demonstrated through two years of volunteer work in the inpatient oncology unit at Hackensack Meridian and a self-initiated Chemotherapy Care fundraiser that raised over $2,000 for patients in need.

“Being named Salutatorian means more than just academic achievement to me,” Caroline said. “It reflects the late nights, the sacrifices, and the people—my family, friends, coaches, and teachers—who believed in me even when I didn’t believe in myself.”

A dedicated four-year member of the varsity basketball and golf teams, Caroline also co-founded the Biomedical Club, served as Student Council Treasurer, and participated in Hope Squad, Catholic Athletes for Christ, National Honor Society, and the Make-A-Wish Club. Her leadership is a true testament to the holistic mission of St. Rose High School—to develop young adults who are not only academically prepared, but also faith-filled and service-minded.

When asked about her greatest inspiration, Caroline credited her mother and her coach, Chrissy Hatfield. “My mom taught me to give everything my best, whether recognized or not, and Coach Chrissy has always reminded me of what I’m capable of—even when I doubted it myself.”

A defining moment of her academic journey came when she received her acceptance to UVA. “I opened the letter in the basketball locker room after practice,” she recalled. “When I saw the acceptance, I threw my phone and started screaming. My teammates hugged me, and we all cried tears of joy. In that moment, I knew the sacrifices were worth it.”

Caroline’s success is a reflection of the vibrant and supportive community at St. Rose. As she prepares to take her next steps, she leaves behind a legacy of resilience, leadership, and integrity.
