#6 - Electrostatic Disinfection Equipment

We are counting down to the first day of school while announcing the Top 10 ways St. Rose High School is re-opening safely for in-person learning.

#5 - Plexiglass Partitions and Additional Learning Spaces

St. Rose High School has made an investment in special equipment that utilizes electrostatic technology to disinfect all areas on campus.

Electrostatic sprayers work by charging liquids (i.e., cleaners, sanitizers, and disinfectants) as they pass through a sprayer nozzle. This generates charged droplets that repel one another and actively seek out environmental surfaces, which they stick to and even wrap around to coat all sides.

The solutions used in the application are food-grade, EPA approved and non-toxic.  Spaces can be reoccupied within 30 minutes of application.  99.999% of viruses and germs are eliminated.

The facilities team will be using this equipment to disinfect high traffic and high touch areas around campus including classrooms, hallways, MAAC, library, cafeteria, offices, bathrooms, locker rooms, technology, door handles, buttons, and even the inside of our buses.

Check back tomorrow for #5 in our countdown to our re-opening.
