Although celebrated Holy Saturday evening, it is the dramatic Easter vigil liturgy that marks the beginning of Easter. We are awaiting our master's return with our lamps full and burning, so that he will find us awake and seat us at his table (cf. Luke 12:35ff). In this video, St. Rose High School chaplain, Father Chris Dayton, shares why we celebrate the Easter Vigil.
All Catholics should try to attend this beautiful service. As a reminder, today at 7pm, The Most Reverent, David M. O'Connell, C.M., will be celebrating at St. Rose Church The Easter Vigil, which will be live-streamed here: http://srhsnj.com/mass
