Students and Parents,
I hope that you are enjoying the summer and have some time to relax. We are looking forward to tonight’s graduation, and we are already planning for the opening of school in September.
We have received strict guidelines from the NJDOE regarding the opening of school and we are working on a plan that will ensure 100% compliance with all that is required. We will do everything within our power to provide for the safety and well-being of our students and staff.
Our detailed plan will include:
Daily sanitizing methods
Controlled student and staff traffic in the hallways and stairwells
Social distancing throughout the school building
Temperature monitoring of all students and staff as they enter the school building
Protocols for student lunches
These and an array of other details that will enhance the spiritual, academic, social and emotional needs of our students and staff will be finalized soon. Our comprehensive plan will be made available to the entire school community on or about August 1.
As previously stated, we have received numerous accolades from our parents regarding the virtual learning that our students experienced during the pandemic. However, we all know that nothing replaces the live interaction between students and teachers and their peers. That being said, our goal is to have all of our students and teachers in their classrooms on a daily basis beginning in September. Should something change that would cause us to alter our plan, we will send you an update. Once again, our goal is to be at 100% capacity in September. If you have any questions or concerns, please call me at 732-655-4315.
