New Vice-Principal



I am happy to announce that Timothy O’Halloran, SRHS Dean of Students has been promoted to the position of Vice Principal.  The Vice Principal’s position is currently held by Eleanor MacIsaac. Mr. O’Halloran will assume his new position effective on July 1, 2018.

For the past six years, Mr. O’Halloran has served the St. Rose Community as a teacher, Department Chairperson and Dean of Students.  Mr. O’Halloran served as an administrator for 20 years in the Somerville School District and for 18 years as the Principal of Somerville High School.  Prior to becoming a school administrator, Mr. O’Halloran taught high school mathematics in the Linden, Keyport and Keansburg school districts. Mr. O’Halloran earned his B.A. Degree from St. Peter’s College and his M.A. in Administration and Supervision from New Jersey City University.  In 2003, Mr. O’Halloran was honored as New Jersey’s Principal of the Year.

I am delighted to have the opportunity to work with Mr. O’Halloran.  His administrative experience and his familiarity with the students and staff of SRHS will allow our school to continue to move forward on our “Journey Towards Greatness”.
