The Memory Project is a charitable nonprofit organization that invites art teachers and their students to create and donate portraits to youth around the world who have faced substantial challenges, such as violence, disasters, extreme poverty, neglect, and loss of parents. This year, the portraits were sent to the children of Syria. Here’s a video from the Memory Project that shows the children receiving the portraits. You will also get a chance to learn more about the children and their lives.
What a great project. Great job to Mrs. Sikorski and Mrs. Fulton for leading this project with your students.
