Good Morning Seniors and Senior Parents,
Your day is finally here! We are trying to do everything we can to ensure that your commencement ceremony leaves you and your family with many fond memories. We are praying for good weather, but we must be prepared for the unexpected. Should we experience rain, and perhaps thunderstorms, there are protocols that we must follow to maintain everyone’s safety. Please be aware of the following:
Should we see lightning or hear thunder, we are required to stop the ceremony and ask you to return to your cars. You will be notified when it is safe to return to your seats.
Social distancing must be maintained at all times. When moving from the parking area to the infield, please distance yourself from other families. Cones will be utilized in specific areas as a reminder to distance yourself from others. Our outside graduation will be one of the first in the state and we want to be in complete compliance with NJDOE guidelines.
Please move to your seats in a timely manner. We cannot have a large crowd entering the infield at the same time, as social distancing would be virtually impossible.
Make sure to have your graduation tickets and parking pass readily available when arriving at the field complex. You will need to show these to a staff member as you drive in and we want to keep all vehicles moving efficiently off West Hurley Pond Road toward the parking spaces.
Our graduation ceremony will be live-streamed. Should weather interfere with the live-streaming, a video of the ceremony will be available later in the evening.
Please check our website throughout the day for any last-minute updates. Should further communication be necessary we will follow our usual protocol.
Please pray for good weather and we will see you later today.
