Graduation Message to the Class of 2020

Dear Class of 2020 & Parents:

At the time of this post, June 2nd @ 6pm, we were all supposed to be at Monmouth University celebrating the Class of 2020 during your Commencement Ceremony.  Therefore, I  was compelled to send you this message to let you know we are all thinking of you.  A live graduation is in the planning stages and more details including a date will be announced soon.  We are grateful to all of you and I have personally enjoyed interacting with you during the various senior events that have been recently held both virtually and in person, at a distance.

Additionally, your commencement speaker, Mr. James M. Murray '86, the 26th Director of the United States Secret Service and St. Rose Alumnus has also prepared a special for the Class of 2020.  He too looks forward to seeing you in person.

Finally, the video message also introduces June 8th as our Senior pick-up date where you will have an opportunity to clean out your locker, pick up your awards and drop off books and school technology.  We are also offering our seniors an iPad buyback program.  More details on that and your appointment time for June 8th to follow.

On this evening, while you were supposed to be celebrating your graduation, please know that we are not going to leave you without a live ceremony and have every intention to celebrate you, the Class of 2020, together in the near future.

God bless you all,

Mr. John Tonero

School Principal
