Statement from St. Rose High School

As we rejoice in the reopening of our parish churches, we take this opportunity to pray for God's grace to open our hearts to the suffering our brothers and sisters endure due to the sin of racial injustice. Pope Francis reminds us,  "My friends, we cannot tolerate or turn a blind eye to racism and exclusion in any form and yet claim to defend the sacredness of every human life,"  As a people of faith we look to the Mystery of the Blessed Trinity as our model for living as an inclusive community.  In the Trinity three distinct persons become one through Divine Love. This Divine Love created us as, "God breathed life into the man.."(Gen.2:). We ask for the grace to work to protect the divine breath of life present in every human being.  Let us pray, Open our hearts, Lord, and make us instruments of justice and peace in a world in need of your healing Love.  Amen.
