Dear Parents & Students:
While we all recognize these are unprecedented times and certainly unsettling for our families and staff, we would like to thank our entire community for what has been nothing short of a remarkable example of true home/school partnership. Our prayers continue to be with you and your family as we forge forward and continue to deliver a high-quality virtual learning experience for our students.
After continued conversations with local and state officials and under the direction of the Diocese of Trenton's Department of Catholic Education, St. Rose High School will be extending their school closure to April 17, 2020. Read the Superintendent's full announcement here.
Extracurricular activities, athletics, class trips and community gatherings up until this time will be cancelled or postponed until further notice.
We will continue to observe our Easter Break schedule as planned from the end of classes on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 until Friday, April 17, 2020.
Moreover, in partnership with the NCEA, we are offering a webinar event on Tuesday, March 24 at 12 PM EST and again at 6 PM EST, to assist parents and educators who need some practical help right now managing a transition to virtual learning, establishing routines, discipline, navigating all the online tools that are out there and trying to keep sane. We hope you take advantage of this opportunity and that you find the content valuable and applicable.
Finally, as a reminder, if you haven't done so already, please click here and share feedback on your (child's) first week of Virtual Learning.
We will continue to post updates on our website at www.srhsnj.com/health, mobile app and SMS alerts. We are praying that this will all be over soon and that we can gather once again as a school community and be grateful for each other.
Yours in Christ,
Mr. John Tonero
St. Rose High School
