Governor Murphy's Executive Order No. 117 & 119

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Updated information follows based on Governor Murphy’s recent executive orders.

Our schools continue to follow Governor Murphy’s Executive Order No. 104, Executive Order No. 107, and recently released Executive Order No. 117 and Executive Order No. 119.

Governor Murphy has indicated that previous executive orders remain in full force and that the state of emergency remains in place indefinitely.

With the public-health emergency order, Catholic schools in the Diocese of Trenton will continue to be closed through May 8, 2020. Remote learning will continue in our schools as long as the governor’s orders are in effect.

The decision to reopen schools will be guided by future decisions forthcoming from Governor Murphy and may be extended.

May you know God’s blessings as the solemnity of Holy Week gives way to the joys of the Resurrection and the Easter season.

Sincerely,

JoAnn Tier

Superintendent of Catholic Schools
