This month, with the quarantine and the resulting #SRHSNJVirtualLearning, we thought we would poke a little fun at ourselves instead. It’s been an amazing transition into a Virtual Learning Program. Here’s what our parents are saying:
"I think that everyone is doing an excellent job with how everything was converted to virtual learning. It has been very easy and streamlined in addition to the communications that have been provided."
"I just wanted to thank you for your outstanding efforts to keep our kids learning during this unusual time. From day one, we were up and running, somewhat seamless it seemed, and we've been going strong ever since. Having spoken to some friends whose kids attend different high schools in our area, it seems we have the best system in place. This, amongst many other things, makes me happy and proud to say my son goes to St. Rose. Thank you for all you do for SRHS!"
"The love, care and support of the SRHS family is beyond amazing! During this difficult time of change and uncertainty, the administration, teachers and support staff has made this process seamless! You all are to be commended!"
Even with all of this positivity, our “New Normal” of doing everything that we do in a different location has yielded some new and interesting cultural foibles in the St. Rose Community. We thought today, "WHAT DAY IS IT?", FRIDAY, would be a good day to share those with the extended community by introducing a new game: Virtual Learning BINGO!
As a reminder, next week is a shortened week, with virtual classes on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday. During those three days, let's see how many space you can fill on your card:
Here’s how you play: Simply print the playing card below. Position it near your screen and go about your day as normal. As you encounter the experiences indicated on the card, mark them off to see if you can get five consecutive boxes! Parents- bonus points if you can score a BINGO during work! So, without further delay, here’s the official SRHS BINGO card:
