We are pleased to announce that the St. Rose High School Athletic Club will once again sponsor the “Run for the Roses” Invitational Basketball Tournament as we celebrate the 44th anniversary of the tournament this year. For the past thirty plus years the "Run for the Roses" Tournament has been a showcase for some of the finest young basketball talent in New Jersey. In 1979 St. Rose High School created a tournament with the goal of attracting a small field of teams to a post-season competition that would emphasize both quality play and good sportsmanship. Since then the “Run for the Roses” Tournament has grown to become one of the largest tournaments in the State, and the premier grammar school basketball tournament at the Jersey Shore.
